Mar 12 Information: We'll have a guest speaker for a few minutes during our class to discuss Summer Camp opportunities for our children.
Jan 15 Update: We begin our next segment with a kickoff breakfast on January 29, 2006. While enjoying breakfast, we will preview the book, Paul and the Romans: The Life and Letters of Paul, by Denise L. Stringer. The classes will begin February 5th. We meet from 9:15 to 10:15 on Sunday mornings. We invite you to join us as we expand our knowledge of Paul, the Early Church, and the messages his letters still hold for us today.
Jan 17 Update: Good news: the books are in. I've just finished scanning the introduction and first chapter. All of the chapters are 14-16 pages in length (sorry, no pictures). Each chapter is broken into three or four segments with recommended scripture readings preceeding the chapter and a small set of questions specifically covering that section. Finally, each chapter closes with questions and a bibliography. With 111 pages, chapter and subsection scriptures and questions, and fairly short chapters, this book looks to have been an excellent choice.
