Adult Sunday School

August 2006 - June 2007

 

August/September - We're going to start working through Acts. We may take it a chapter at a time; we may skip around; we may decide to head off in another direction as early as September. The important note is that we will decide where to go, together.

 

October/November - Its been an interesting experience. We've missed some Sundays for various reasons. We really like the format and for now will press forward.

• December 10 - Class time spent supporting preparation for annual Christmas program.
• December 17 - Acts 14
• December 24 - Coffee in the west end
• December 31 - Coffee in the west end
• January 7 - Acts 15
• January 14 - Acts 16
• January 21 - Acts 17
• January 28 - Acts 18; Paul Meets Priscilla and Aquila in Corinth
• February 4 - Coffee in the west end
• February 11 - Acts 19; Paul's Third Missionary Journey Begins
• February 18 - Acts 20; Paul to Macedonia, Greece and Beyond
• February 25 - Acts 21; Paul's Journey to Jerusalem
• February - May: We finished !!

 

That's about as far ahead as we have planned. We always discuss where to go next. The value of our discussions is greatly enhanced when we share the insights we gained or the points of interest we discovered as we read through the material in the week leading up to class. Everyone finds something different, leading to rich discussions and a relaxed environment.
