Presbyterian Women

Do you want more than a Bible study? Is your heart yearning to hear God's voice and see his work tangibly in your daily life? If so, you're not alone. Many of the women of FPC are hunger-ing for more. We want to live an active life of faith. We believe God has caused several study groups to be created to meet this need. Women are taking their requests together unabashedly before God, and we are seeing and hearing him answer.

If you too have this hunger for God — or want it but don't know how to get it — we have a few study groups already available. You are welcome to join at any time, even if the study has already started. If there is no time that works for you or you are serious and want to commit yourself to seeking God through a study but would need child care, please let us know. We commit ourselves to starting any new times necessary to fill the need. And if a study is not possible with your schedule at this time, please let us pray for you. God answers prayers. We want to serve you through prayer and unify the Body of Christ through love for one another. “But He [God] said to me, „My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.” (II Corinthians 12:9).

We currently have three circles meeting for Bible Study and Fellowship together. Newcomers are always welcome! See the calendar for upcoming events.

After worship we will have a luncheon and hear of Anne Gifford's recent trip to Africa. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. We will also be collecting school supplies for Jeff Grassley's September trip to Africa.

Bible Study Groups

Lydia Circle

Meets in the Church Library on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30. No childcare provided.

Meets in the Church Library on Wednesday mornings at 9:30. No childcare provided..

Martha Circle

Meets on Wednesday mornings at 9:45 in different homes, alternating Bible study and crafts. No childcare provided.
